Rockville oral surgeon Dr. Sreeni follows the philosophy of his spiritual teacher, Sri Sathya Sai Baba, and finds many opportunities to put this philosophy into practice. Twice a month, Dr. Sreeni volunteers his time at a local Montgomery County dental clinic to provide desperately needed dental care for those who cannot afford it.
Each year Dr. Sreeni travels to India to provide oral surgery services at a hospital that offers free medical services to anyone who comes in. Dr. Sreeni also periodically travels to help following natural disasters such as those in Haiti and Tacloban in the Philippines, and has also been to British Guyana.

Dr. Sivakumar Sreenivasan
With his warm smile and compassionate nature, our oral surgeon Dr. Sivakumar Sreenivasan instantly puts patients at ease. Dr. Sreeni, as he’s known to his colleagues and patients, began his career as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon in India. He also completed dental school and residency a second time in order to practice in the United States.
Dr. Sreeni is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He completed a residency in anesthesiology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and served as an attending providing anesthesia for children and adults. Dr. Sreeni is certified in Adult and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. His education of 18 years in dentistry covers training both in India as well as the United States of America.

Dr. Sivakumar Sreenivasan provides a full range of oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures, with a focus on dental implants. In a compassionate setting, we provide personalized attention and tailored services that meet each patient's needs in order to ensure an incredible experience for everyone.
Alongside dental implants, Dr. Sreeni performs wisdom teeth removal, bone grafting, treatment of impacted teeth, orthognathic jaw surgery, facial trauma treatment, and TMJ treatment. General anesthesia is available in our office.

Implant-Supported Dentures – Implant-supported dentures are used when all or most teeth need to be replaced. That depends on the procedure and your preference. Dr. Sreeni completed a residency in anesthesiology and is a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and general anesthesia is available in our office, so many patients are able to sleep through treatment. We'll discuss the right option for you at your consultation.
In many cases, yes. Dr. Sreeni is well known for same-day placement of dental implants following tooth removal, for a single tooth or a complete arch. A consultation and 3D scan will determine whether it's appropriate for your case.
All-on-4® replaces a full arch of teeth using four dental implants as anchors. Because it uses fewer implants placed at specific angles, it can often be done without bone grafting and helps prevent further bone loss in the jaw.
